I love these drapes!

Yes, these are elegant and look great in this room! And I'm so proud of them! My neighbor loves them in her dining room (which she decorated and it's beautiful already). These triple-pleated, double-width drapes serve more than just a decorative purpose. They are lined with thermal suede, and help block the Texas heat out of her dining room during the day.

Checking out her very cool chandelier aren't you??  I had a teeny tiny part in helping her pick that one out.  Oh and notice the matching table runner??  Uh, huh.

The fabric is simple, yet graphic and modern.  It is also polyester, so no wrinkles!!  And I am especially fond of the thick, full, red, blue, and gold cotton fringe trim I put on the leading edge of these drapes.  Adds a girlie touch to a contemporary room.  I *heart* this room.

Fabulous and super-full triple pleats.... waves and waves of glorious wrinkle-free fabric.

New Sleek Valance

I just completed a fun new valance for a friend and hung it this evening.  I love how the stripes can be manipulated to add interest to this design.  Candice Olson was my inspiration for this one.  I've seen her do a kitchen with something similar.  This one is a box (or inverted) pleat with a horizontal banding at the top.

This photo might be deceiving.  The valance is 10-feet long!  It's hung over a bay window and she loved it!

Then I made some pillows for her sectional out of the inspiration fabric for the whole room...  We loved how they turned out.  We went with piping instead of fringe on the pillow to keep that clean look.
